A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Jason has camped all over the country, especially in the Southern Appalachians. He spent many years working on staff at Boy Scout camps, serving in Director positions, and teaching others how to camp, fish, swim, boat, safely handle firearms and archery, make fire, and more; all while enjoying the surroundings of the natural world.

Jason is an Eagle Scout and enjoys sharing what he knows with others. 

At Wyldhaven, he can often be found on the tractor or with a chainsaw in hand…ready to tackle whatever is thrown his way.

Jason's favorite animals at Wyldhaven are the Pileated Woodpecker, Box turtle, and the ever elusive Bobcat.
